Ingredients
- 2 cups sushi rice, cooked and seasoned with rice vinegar
- 2 nori seaweed sheets
- 1/2 lb sashimi-grade raw fish (such as tuna or salmon), thinly sliced
- 1/2 cucumber, julienned
- 1/2 avocado, sliced
- 1/4 cup pickled ginger
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tsp wasabi paste
- 1 tsp sriracha sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Lay a nori sheet on a clean, dry surface.
- Spread 1 cup of cooked sushi rice evenly over the nori sheet, leaving a 1-inch border at the top.
- Arrange the sliced fish, cucumber, avocado, and pickled ginger in the center of the rice.
- Drizzle with mayonnaise, soy sauce, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Roll the nori sheet into a tight burrito, using a bamboo sushi mat or plastic wrap to help shape and compress the ingredients.
- Repeat with the remaining nori sheet and ingredients.
- Slice each sushi burrito in half diagonally.
- Serve with wasabi paste and sriracha sauce on the side for dipping.
