Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon white sugar
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 ripe banana, mashed
- 1/2 cup chopped strawberries
Instructions
- In a large bowl, sift together 1 1/2 cups of flour, 3 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 tablespoon of white sugar.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together 1 1/4 cups of milk, 1 egg, and 3 tablespoons of melted butter. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Gently fold in the mashed banana and chopped strawberries.
- Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until browned on the other side.
- Serve the pancakes warm with additional sliced strawberries and bananas, and maple syrup if desired. Enjoy!
