Ingredients
- 2 cans (15 oz) of chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 cup of honey
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, toss the chickpeas with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika, 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt until evenly coated.
- Spread the seasoned chickpeas in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the chickpeas are crispy, stirring once halfway through.
- In a small saucepan, heat 1/4 cup of honey over low heat until it becomes thin and runny.
- Remove the roasted chickpeas from the oven and transfer them to a large bowl.
- Drizzle the warm honey over the chickpeas and toss to coat evenly.
- Allow the honey glazed chickpeas to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
