Spicy Buffalo Wings have a rich history dating back to 1964 when they were first created at the Anchor Bar in Buffalo, New York. Legend has it that the bar's owner, Teressa Bellissimo, whipped up a batch of wings as a late-night snack for her son and his friends. The wings were deep-fried, tossed in a spicy cayenne pepper hot sauce, and served with celery and blue cheese dressing. Today, this iconic dish has become a staple in bars and restaurants across the United States, with countless variations and adaptations. The key to perfect Buffalo wings lies in the crispy texture of the fried chicken and the tangy, spicy sauce that coats each piece. For the best Buffalo wings, head to Buffalo, New York, where you can find the most authentic and delicious versions of this classic dish.
