Ingredients
- 1 block (14 oz) of extra firm tofu, pressed and cut into cubes
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of sriracha sauce
- 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons of chopped green onions, for garnish
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of sriracha sauce, 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of onion powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger.
- Add the tofu cubes to the bowl and gently toss to coat the tofu with the marinade. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
- Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of cornstarch over the marinated tofu and toss to coat evenly.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly coat it with cooking spray. Arrange the tofu cubes in a single layer on the baking sheet.
- Bake the tofu for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden and crispy, flipping the tofu halfway through the baking time for even browning.
- Remove the tofu from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Sprinkle with chopped green onions before serving.
