Spicy Baked Tempeh with Sriracha

Ingredients
- 1 package (8 oz) of tempeh, cut into cubes
- 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of sriracha sauce
- 1 tablespoon of maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small bowl, whisk together 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of sriracha sauce, 1 tablespoon of maple syrup, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon of smoked paprika, and 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper.
- Place the cubed tempeh in a baking dish and pour the sriracha marinade over the tempeh, tossing to coat evenly.
- Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds over the tempeh.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the tempeh is golden brown and crispy around the edges.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with thinly sliced green onions before serving.
- Serve the spicy baked tempeh with sriracha over rice or quinoa, and enjoy!
