Ingredients
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat 1/4 cup of olive oil over medium heat.
- Add 4 cloves of minced garlic and 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the skillet, and cook for 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant.
- Add 1 pound of peeled and deveined shrimp to the skillet, and cook for 2-3 minutes until the shrimp turns pink and opaque.
- Pour in 1/4 cup of dry white wine and 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice, and simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, and sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley before serving.
- Serve the Spanish Garlic Shrimp hot, with crusty bread or over rice.
