Soy Ginger Glazed Chicken Wings

Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp grated ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small saucepan, combine 1/4 cup soy sauce, 1/4 cup honey, 2 tbsp rice vinegar, 2 tbsp grated ginger, 2 cloves minced garlic, and 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the glaze has thickened slightly. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Place the chicken wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Season with salt and pepper.
- Bake the chicken wings in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until golden and crispy, turning once halfway through cooking.
- Once the chicken wings are cooked, remove them from the oven and brush the soy ginger glaze over the wings. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, allowing the glaze to caramelize.
- Remove the chicken wings from the oven and sprinkle with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
