Instructions

  • In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add 4 cloves of minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add 1 pound of small shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
  • Stir in 1/4 cup of unsalted butter, 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice.
  • Serve the garlic butter shrimp immediately as an appetizer or over pasta or rice as a main course. Enjoy!
