  • 1 block of firm tofu, drained and cubed
  • 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 teaspoon of grated ginger
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup of broccoli florets
  • 1 cup of snap peas
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds
  • Cooked rice or noodles, for serving

  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds

Instructions

  • In a bowl, toss the cubed tofu with 2 tablespoons of cornstarch until evenly coated.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of sesame oil, 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar, 1 tablespoon of honey, grated ginger, and minced garlic to make the sauce.
  • Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat and add a little oil. Add the coated tofu and cook until crispy and golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the tofu from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the sliced red bell pepper, broccoli florets, and snap peas. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  • Return the crispy tofu to the skillet and pour the sauce over the tofu and vegetables. Toss everything together to coat evenly and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Sprinkle with sliced green onions and sesame seeds. Serve the sesame tofu stir-fry over cooked rice or noodles. Enjoy!
