Ingredients
- 1 block (14 oz) of firm tofu, drained and cubed
- 1/4 cup of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons of sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 1 tablespoon of grated ginger
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons of water
- 4 cups of cooked brown rice
- 2 cups of steamed broccoli florets
- 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar, 2 tablespoons of sesame oil, 2 tablespoons of honey, 1 tablespoon of grated ginger, and 2 cloves of minced garlic to make the sauce.
- In a separate bowl, mix 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of water to make a slurry.
- Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the cubed tofu and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown on all sides.
- Pour the sesame ginger sauce over the tofu and stir to coat. Add the cornstarch slurry and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
- Divide the cooked brown rice and steamed broccoli among 4 bowls. Top each bowl with the sesame tofu, then sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
