- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons grated fresh ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup soy sauce, 2 tablespoons honey, 2 tablespoons rice vinegar, 2 tablespoons sesame oil, grated fresh ginger, and minced garlic.
- Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag and pour half of the marinade over the chicken. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
- In a small bowl, mix 1 tablespoon cornstarch with 2 tablespoons water to create a slurry.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Pour the remaining marinade into the skillet and add the cornstarch slurry. Cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken, about 2-3 minutes.
- Sprinkle the sesame seeds and green onions over the chicken before serving.
