Ingredients
- 1 sausage patty
- 1 large egg
- 1 slice of cheddar cheese
- 1 English muffin, split and toasted
- 1 teaspoon of butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage patty for 3-4 minutes on each side until fully cooked.
- Remove the sausage patty from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt 1 teaspoon of butter over medium heat.
- Crack the egg into the skillet and cook to your desired doneness, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
- While the egg is cooking, place the slice of cheddar cheese on top of the egg to melt.
- Once the egg is cooked and the cheese is melted, remove from the skillet and set aside.
- Assemble the breakfast sandwich by placing the cooked sausage patty and egg with melted cheese on the bottom half of the toasted English muffin.
- Top with the other half of the English muffin to create a sandwich.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
