Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.
  • Add 1/4 cup of finely chopped jalapenos, 1/4 cup of finely chopped onion, and 2 cloves of minced garlic to the saucepan. Cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the vegetables are softened.
  • Reduce the heat to low and add 2 cups of shredded white American cheese and 1/2 cup of whole milk to the saucepan. Stir constantly until the cheese is melted and the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  • Stir in 1/4 cup of chopped fresh cilantro, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
