Pumpkin Spice Pull-Apart Bread

Created by: Howcan Team

Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine 3 cups of flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, yeast, and salt.
  • In a small saucepan, heat the milk and 1/4 cup of butter until warm (120-130°F). Add the warm milk mixture, pumpkin puree, vanilla extract, pumpkin pie spice, and eggs to the dry ingredients. Beat until smooth.
  • Stir in enough remaining flour to form a soft dough. Turn onto a floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic, about 6-8 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease the top. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
  • Punch dough down. Turn onto a lightly floured surface; divide into 36 pieces. Shape each piece into a ball. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, and pumpkin pie spice. Dip each ball in the butter mixture, then layer in a greased 10-in. fluted tube pan. Cover and let rise until doubled, about 30 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown. Cool in pan for 10 minutes before inverting onto a serving plate. Serve warm and enjoy!
