Ingredients
- 1 cup of old-fashioned oats

- 2 tablespoons of maple syrup

- 1/4 cup of milk or non-dairy milk (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
- Stir in 1 cup of old-fashioned oats and reduce heat to low. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add 1/2 cup of canned pumpkin puree, 1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 1/8 teaspoon of ground nutmeg, and 1/8 teaspoon of ground ginger to the oatmeal. Stir to combine and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Sweeten the oatmeal with 2 tablespoons of maple syrup, adjusting to taste if desired.
