  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles. Starting at the wide end of each triangle, wrap the dough around the bacon-wrapped hot dogs, tucking the ends underneath.
  • Carefully place each wrapped hot dog into the boiling water for 30 seconds. Remove with a slotted spoon and return to the baking sheet.
  • Brush the wrapped hot dogs with the beaten egg and sprinkle with coarse salt.
