Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine 1 lb of ground turkey, 1/4 cup of breadcrumbs, 1/4 cup of grated onion, 1/4 cup of chopped parsley, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper. Mix well and form into 4 patties.
  • Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the turkey patties for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
  • While the patties are cooking, split the pretzel buns and toast them on the grill for 1-2 minutes, until lightly golden.
  • Assemble the burgers by placing a turkey patty on the bottom half of each pretzel bun. Top with a slice of cheddar cheese, a lettuce leaf, a tomato slice, and a red onion slice. Spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise and 1 tablespoon of mustard on the top half of each pretzel bun.
