Ingredients
- 1 lb of chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 cup of pineapple chunks
- 1/2 cup of teriyaki sauce
- 1/4 cup of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon of minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon of grated ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- Bamboo skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix 1/2 cup of teriyaki sauce, 1/4 cup of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, 1 tablespoon of minced garlic, 1 teaspoon of grated ginger, and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper to make the marinade.
- Add the chicken cubes to the marinade, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated chicken cubes and pineapple chunks onto the soaked bamboo skewers.
- Grill the skewers for 6-8 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is fully cooked, basting with the remaining teriyaki sauce while grilling.
