Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
  • Stir in 1 cup of rolled oats and reduce heat to low. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add the diced pears, 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, 2 tablespoons of honey, and 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon to the oatmeal. Stir well to combine.
  • Continue to cook for an additional 3-5 minutes, or until the pears are tender and the oatmeal is creamy.
  • Remove the saucepan from the heat and divide the oatmeal into two serving bowls.
  • Top each bowl with 1/8 cup of chopped dark chocolate and 1/8 cup of chopped almonds.
