Ingredients
- 4 bison tenderloin steaks, 6 oz each
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 sprigs of fresh rosemary
Instructions
- Remove the bison tenderloin steaks from the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
- Season both sides of the bison tenderloin steaks with 2 tsp of salt and 1 tsp of black pepper.
- Heat 2 tbsp of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the bison tenderloin steaks to the skillet and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or longer to reach desired doneness.
- During the last minute of cooking, add the minced garlic and rosemary sprigs to the skillet and baste the steaks with the infused oil.
- Remove the bison tenderloin steaks from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
