Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 cup sliced carrots
- 1 cup sliced bell peppers
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup snow peas
- 1/4 cup oyster sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 cup chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch dissolved in 2 tablespoons water
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together oyster sauce, soy sauce, fish sauce, sugar, and chicken or vegetable broth. Set aside.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sliced onion, and stir-fry for 1 minute.
- Add the broccoli, carrots, bell peppers, mushrooms, and snow peas. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the vegetables and stir to combine.
- Stir the cornstarch mixture again and pour it into the wok, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.
- Remove from heat and transfer to a serving dish.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with steamed rice.
