Honey Mustard Glazed Oven-Fried Chicken Tenders
Created by: Howcan Team
Ingredients
- 1 pound chicken tenders
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In three separate shallow dishes, place the flour in one, beaten eggs in another, and combine the panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper in the third.
- Dredge each chicken tender in the flour, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture. Place the coated tenders on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is crispy and golden brown.
- While the chicken is baking, prepare the honey mustard glaze. In a small saucepan, combine the honey, Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, and apple cider vinegar. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the glaze is heated through and well combined.
- Once the chicken tenders are done, brush the honey mustard glaze over the top of each tender. Return the glazed tenders to the oven for an additional 2-3 minutes to allow the glaze to caramelize slightly.
- Serve the honey mustard glazed oven-fried chicken tenders hot, with extra glaze on the side for dipping.
