Ingredients
- 2 oz bourbon
- 1/2 oz simple syrup
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- 1 strip of orange peel
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- In a mixing glass, combine 2 oz of bourbon, 1/2 oz of simple syrup, and 2 dashes of Angostura bitters.
- Fill the mixing glass with ice cubes.
- Stir the mixture for about 30 seconds to chill and dilute the drink.
- Strain the cocktail into a chilled rocks glass filled with ice.
- Express the oil from the orange peel over the drink by holding it over the glass and giving it a twist to release the oils. Rub the rim of the glass with the peel and drop it into the glass as a garnish.
