Mushroom Beef Stir-Fry with Broccoli and Carrots

Ingredients
- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup sliced carrots
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice for serving
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup soy sauce, 2 tbsp oyster sauce, 1 tbsp cornstarch, and 1/2 cup beef broth. Set aside.
- Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the sliced beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- Add the remaining 1 tbsp of vegetable oil to the skillet. Add the minced garlic, broccoli, and carrots. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes.
- Return the cooked beef to the skillet. Pour the soy sauce mixture over the beef and vegetables. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and vegetables.
- Drizzle 1 tsp of sesame oil over the stir-fry and sprinkle with 1/4 tsp of red pepper flakes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the mushroom beef stir-fry with broccoli and carrots over cooked rice. Enjoy!
