Created by: Howcan Team

Ingredients

  • 1 pound pizza dough
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup diced mushrooms
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Divide the pizza dough into 12 equal pieces and roll each piece into a 6-inch rope.
  • In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced mushrooms, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and any liquid has evaporated. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  • Flatten each rope of dough and place a spoonful of the cooked mushrooms in the center. Sprinkle with shredded Swiss cheese and fold the dough over the filling, pinching the edges to seal.
  • Place the stuffed breadsticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with the remaining olive oil and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the breadsticks are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy!
