  • Pour in 1 cup of milk and 1/2 cup of heavy cream, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens, about 5 minutes.
  • Season the mixture with 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper, and 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg, then remove from heat.
  • Transfer the mushroom and spinach mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese on top.
