  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat a panini press or a grill pan over medium heat.
  • Brush one side of each slice of ciabatta bread with olive oil.
  • Place the mozzarella slices on two of the bread slices, followed by the tomato slices. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and dried oregano. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar.
  • Top with the remaining two slices of bread, oiled side up.
  • Place the sandwiches in the panini press or grill pan and cook for 3-5 minutes, or until the bread is golden and the cheese is melted.
  • Carefully remove the panini from the press or pan, slice in half, and serve hot. Enjoy!
