Ingredients
- 4 cod fillets (6 oz each)
- 1/4 cup white miso paste
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons grated fresh ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup white miso paste, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 2 tablespoons rice vinegar, 2 tablespoons honey, 2 tablespoons grated fresh ginger, and 2 cloves minced garlic to make the marinade.
- Place the cod fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, turning to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
- Preheat the broiler. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and brush with 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil.
- Remove the cod fillets from the marinade and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Spoon any remaining marinade over the top of the fillets.
- Broil the cod for 8-10 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork, basting with the marinade halfway through cooking.
- Garnish the cod with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
