Ingredients
- 12 slices of bread
- 6 slices of cheddar cheese
- 3 tablespoons of butter
Instructions
- Place 6 slices of bread on a clean surface.
- Add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each slice of bread.
- Top each with another slice of bread to form sandwiches.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
- Spread 1/2 tablespoon of butter on one side of each sandwich.
- Place the sandwiches, buttered side down, in the skillet.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Spread the remaining 1/2 tablespoon of butter on the top of each sandwich.
- Flip the sandwiches and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.
- Remove from the skillet and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Cut each sandwich into quarters and serve warm.
