Instructions

  • Place 6 slices of bread on a clean surface.
  • Add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each slice of bread.
  • Top each with another slice of bread to form sandwiches.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Spread 1/2 tablespoon of butter on one side of each sandwich.
  • Place the sandwiches, buttered side down, in the skillet.
  • Cook for 3-4 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Spread the remaining 1/2 tablespoon of butter on the top of each sandwich.
  • Flip the sandwiches and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.
  • Remove from the skillet and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • Cut each sandwich into quarters and serve warm.
