Ingredients
- 1 lb ground lamb
- 1 small red onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh mint
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh dill
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 head of butter lettuce, leaves separated
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook 1 lb of ground lamb, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add 1 small red onion and 2 cloves of minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until softened.
- Stir in 1 tsp ground cumin, 1 tsp ground coriander, 1/2 tsp paprika, and 1/4 tsp cinnamon, and cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in 1/4 cup each of chopped fresh parsley, mint, and dill, along with 1/2 cup of crumbled feta cheese and the juice of 1 lemon. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Spoon the lamb mixture into the individual butter lettuce leaves, creating wraps.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
