  • Add 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.
  • Add 1 finely chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.
  • Stir in 1 tablespoon of ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add 2 pureed tomatoes and cook until the oil separates from the masala.
  • Add 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon of red chili powder, and 1 teaspoon of coriander powder. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add 1 cup of green peas and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Gently stir in 2 cups of cubed paneer and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Pour in 1/2 cup of heavy cream and 1/2 teaspoon of garam masala. Mix well and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Season with salt to taste and garnish with fresh cilantro.
  • Serve hot with naan or rice.
