Ingredients
- 2 cups of paneer, cubed
- 1 cup of green peas
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, pureed
- 1 tablespoon of ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon of red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon of coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of garam masala
- 1/2 cup of heavy cream
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.
- Add 1 finely chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.
- Stir in 1 tablespoon of ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Add 2 pureed tomatoes and cook until the oil separates from the masala.
- Add 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon of red chili powder, and 1 teaspoon of coriander powder. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add 1 cup of green peas and cook for 5 minutes.
- Gently stir in 2 cups of cubed paneer and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in 1/2 cup of heavy cream and 1/2 teaspoon of garam masala. Mix well and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Season with salt to taste and garnish with fresh cilantro.
- Serve hot with naan or rice.
