  • 1/2 cup green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • In a large bowl, combine 2 lbs of ground beef, 1 cup breadcrumbs, 1/2 cup finely chopped onion, 1/2 cup finely chopped green bell pepper, and 2 cloves of minced garlic.
  • In a separate bowl, beat 2 eggs and then add them to the meat mixture.
  • Add 1/4 cup of ketchup, 2 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp of salt, and 1/2 tsp of black pepper to the meat mixture. Mix until well combined.
  • Transfer the meat mixture to a 9x5 inch loaf pan and shape into a loaf.
  • Bake for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F.
  • Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
