Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine 1 lb of chopped lobster meat, 1/4 cup of green onions, 1/4 cup of water chestnuts, 1/4 cup of chopped cilantro, 1 tsp of minced ginger, 1 tsp of minced garlic, 1 tbsp of soy sauce, 1 tbsp of oyster sauce, and 1/2 tsp of sesame oil. Mix well to combine.
  • Place a small spoonful of the lobster mixture in the center of a wonton wrapper. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, then fold it in half to form a triangle. Press the edges to seal tightly.
  • Heat 2 cups of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Carefully add the wontons in batches and fry for 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
  • Serve the lobster wontons hot with your favorite dipping sauce, such as sweet chili sauce or soy sauce.
