Loaded Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients
- 2 pounds of potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/2 cup of sour cream
- 1/4 cup of butter
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 3 green onions, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the peeled and cubed potatoes in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are fork-tender.
- Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add the sour cream, butter, and milk to the pot.
- Mash the potatoes with a potato masher until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Stir in 3/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, 3/4 of the crumbled bacon, and 2/3 of the chopped green onions.
- Transfer the mashed potatoes to a serving dish and sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, remaining crumbled bacon, and remaining chopped green onions on top.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
