  • 1 lb of large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 bunch of asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup of fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup of chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese

  • Pour in the chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes to reduce the sauce slightly.
  • Add the cooked pasta and shrimp to the skillet, tossing to coat everything in the lemon garlic sauce. Cook for 1-2 minutes until heated through.
  • Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
