Ingredients
- 8 oz of spaghetti
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup of olive oil
- 1/4 cup of fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon of lemon zest
- 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Cook 8 oz of spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat 1/4 cup of olive oil over medium heat. Add 3 cloves of minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet, along with 1/4 cup of fresh lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of lemon zest, and 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes. Toss to combine and heat through for 2-3 minutes.
- Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley before serving.
- Serve the lemon garlic pasta hot and enjoy!
