Ingredients
- 1 pound chicken tenders
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 lemon, cut into wedges
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a shallow dish, mix together 1/2 cup of flour, 1/2 cup of grated parmesan cheese, minced garlic, lemon zest, salt, and black pepper.
- In another shallow dish, place the beaten eggs. In a third shallow dish, place the panko breadcrumbs.
- Dip each chicken tender into the flour mixture, then the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
- Place the coated chicken tenders on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden and crispy.
