  • 4 tbsp of unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup of chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions

  • Cook the linguine pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat.
  • Add the shrimp to the skillet and season with salt and black pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and lemon juice, then bring to a simmer. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes to reduce slightly.
  • Add the cooked linguine and shrimp back into the skillet. Toss to coat the pasta and shrimp with the lemon garlic butter sauce.
  • Stir in the chopped parsley and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until everything is heated through.
  • Serve the Lemon Garlic Butter Shrimp Pasta in individual plates, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese and additional chopped parsley if desired. Enjoy!
