  • In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant. Stir in the lemon juice and zest, then return the scallops to the skillet. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, basting the scallops with the lemon garlic butter sauce.
