Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine 1 cup of plain yogurt, 4 cloves of minced garlic, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of paprika, 1 teaspoon of cumin, 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper, and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add the 1.5 lbs of cubed chicken breasts to the marinade and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers.
  • Brush the chicken skewers with 1/4 cup of olive oil and grill for 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and slightly charred.
  • Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
