Instructions

  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  • Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and form them into large patties. Season each patty with salt and pepper.
  • Place the patties on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  • While the patties are cooking, place the bacon slices on the grill and cook until crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  • During the last minute of cooking, place 2 slices of cheddar cheese on each patty and allow it to melt.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard to create the burger sauce.
  • Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes, until lightly golden.
  • To assemble the burgers, spread the burger sauce on the bottom half of each bun. Place a patty with melted cheese on top of the sauce, followed by 2 slices of bacon, avocado slices, onion slices, and tomato slices. Top with the other half of the bun.
