Italian Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients
- 6 large bell peppers
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes. Place the peppers in a baking dish and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, cooked rice, marinara sauce, Parmesan cheese, parsley, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Stuff the bell peppers with the beef and rice mixture, and place the pepper tops back on.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the peppers are tender.
- Serve the Italian stuffed peppers hot and enjoy!
