Ingredients
- 6 large pork sausages
- 8 slices of bacon, chopped
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 2 cups of chicken or vegetable broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, brown 6 large pork sausages over medium heat for 5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, add 8 slices of chopped bacon and cook until crispy. Remove and set aside with the sausages.
- Layer the sliced potatoes and onions in the pot, alternating between the two. Season with salt and pepper as you layer.
- Place the browned sausages and crispy bacon on top of the potato and onion layers.
- Pour 2 cups of chicken or vegetable broth over the ingredients in the pot.
- Cover the pot and simmer over low heat for 45 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
