Ingredients
- 4 bone-in pork chops
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the pork chops with 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper, and 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder.
- In a small bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup of maple syrup, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard, and set aside.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the pork chops from the Dutch oven and set aside.
- Add the minced garlic to the Dutch oven and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the maple syrup mixture and stir to combine. Bring to a simmer.
- Return the pork chops to the Dutch oven, spooning the glaze over the top. Sprinkle with chopped fresh rosemary.
- Cover the Dutch oven with a lid and transfer to the preheated oven. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the pork chops reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Remove the Dutch oven from the oven and let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving. Spoon the glaze from the Dutch oven over the pork chops and enjoy!
