Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup of honey, 3 cloves of minced garlic, and 2 tablespoons of soy sauce. Set aside.
  • Season the chicken breasts with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.
  • In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove the cooked chicken from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add the trimmed green beans and sauté for 3-4 minutes, or until they are crisp-tender.
  • Pour the honey garlic sauce over the green beans and stir to coat. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, coating it with the sauce as well. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken and the flavors to meld.
  • Sprinkle with 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes and 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds, if desired.
  • Serve the honey garlic chicken and green beans over cooked rice and enjoy!
