Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small saucepan, combine 1/2 cup honey, 1/4 cup ketchup, 2 tbsp soy sauce, 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp smoked paprika, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp black pepper, and 1/4 cup water. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, then reduce the heat to low and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Place the chicken wings in a large bowl and drizzle with 2 tbsp vegetable oil. Toss to coat the wings evenly.
- Arrange the wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, turning once halfway through, until the wings are golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the wings from the oven and transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the honey BBQ sauce over the wings and toss to coat evenly.
- Return the sauced wings to the baking sheet and broil for 2-3 minutes, until the sauce is sticky and caramelized.
- Serve the honey BBQ wings hot, with extra sauce on the side for dipping. Enjoy!
