  • Layer 2 slices of ham and 2 slices of Swiss cheese on 2 slices of the bread, then top with the remaining 2 slices of bread.
  • Spread 1/2 tablespoon of butter on the top and bottom of each sandwich.
  • Place the sandwiches in the panini press or grill pan and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the bread is crispy and the cheese is melted.
  • Carefully remove the sandwiches from the press or pan, slice in half, and serve hot.
