Ingredients
- 4 croissants
- 8 slices of ham
- 4 slices of Swiss cheese
- 4 eggs
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Slice the croissants in half and place them on a baking sheet.
- Layer each bottom half of the croissants with 2 slices of ham and 1 slice of Swiss cheese.
- Place the croissants in the oven and bake for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the croissants are lightly toasted.
- While the croissants are baking, heat a skillet over medium heat and melt 2 tablespoons of butter.
- Crack an egg into the skillet and cook to your desired doneness, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
- Place a cooked egg on top of the ham and cheese on each croissant bottom.
- Top with the other half of the croissants and serve hot.
