Ingredients
- 4 tuna steaks, about 6 ounces each
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 ripe mangoes, peeled, pitted, and diced
- 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
- 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 tablespoon honey
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Brush the tuna steaks with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Grill the tuna steaks for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or longer to desired doneness.
- While the tuna is grilling, prepare the mango salsa by combining the diced mangoes, red onion, jalapeno pepper, cilantro, lime juice, and honey in a bowl. Mix well and season with salt to taste.
- Once the tuna is done, remove from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Serve the grilled tuna topped with the mango salsa, and enjoy!
